Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy was prepared in good faith and is intended as a starting point. We recommend review by counsel before final publication.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Walchak Concrete ("Walchak Concrete," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit walchakconcrete.com, request an estimate, or otherwise interact with us. Our business address is Winona, Winona, MN 55987. You can reach us at tywalchak@charter.net or 507-458-5626.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit a contact form, schedule a free estimate, or call us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address or city, and any project details you share.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring website, pages viewed, time on page, and approximate location. This is typically collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your estimate request or other inquiry and schedule your free on-site appointment.
- To deliver the coating services you've requested and communicate with you before, during, and after your project.
- To send service-related messages (appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups) and, where permitted, occasional marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve our website's performance.
- To comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights, property, and customers.
4. Third-Party Services and Tracking Technologies
We rely on the following third-party services, which may collect or process information on our behalf:
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel (ID 000000000000000) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. See Meta's Privacy Policy for details.
- Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage analytics and advertising tags on our website. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data, but the tags it loads may.
- Google Analytics 4 (planned). We plan to use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects aggregated, mostly de-identified usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- GoHighLevel / LeadConnector. We use GoHighLevel as our CRM, scheduling, and form-processing platform. When you submit a form or book an appointment on our site, your information is transmitted to and stored within GoHighLevel.
- Hosting and email. Our site is hosted on Netlify and our email is delivered through standard business email providers. These providers process basic technical data (IP, headers) to deliver content securely.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure site performance, and support advertising. The most common categories are:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (for example, to dismiss the promo bar).
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics and Tag Manager to understand site traffic.
- Advertising cookies — used by the Meta Pixel and similar tools to measure ad performance and show relevant ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect how the site works for you. We will honor a clear "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to the extent required by applicable law.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who help us run our business — for example, our CRM, scheduling tools, hosting provider, email platform, and analytics or advertising partners. These providers are only authorized to use your information to perform services for us.
- With trusted subcontractors when needed to complete a project (for example, a concrete repair specialist). They are obligated to keep your information confidential.
- To comply with the law or respond to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
- To protect our rights, property, customers, or the safety of others, including investigating fraud or enforcing our Terms.
- In a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. Data Retention and Security
We keep estimate requests, project records, and related communications for as long as we have an active relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward to support warranty claims, satisfy legal and tax obligations, and improve our services. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to keep your information safe.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain marketing or advertising activities. To exercise these rights, email us at tywalchak@charter.net or call 507-458-5626. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link, and out of marketing texts by replying STOP. Service-related messages (appointment confirmations, project updates) may continue while we are working together.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults who own or manage residential and commercial property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a more prominent notice on the site.
