formula is resistant to chlorine, salt water, and pool chemicals, so it won't
deteriorate the way standard sealers or paints do over time.
Will the coating get too hot to walk on barefoot in summer?
Lighter flake blends (Shoreline, Gravel, Creekbed) reflect more solar energy
and stay significantly cooler than bare dark concrete. We always recommend
lighter colors for pool decks and south-facing patios for this reason.

How does it hold up to rain and standing water?
Very well. The coating is non-porous, so water sits on the surface and runs
off rather than soaking in and causing staining or erosion. It won't soften
or peel when wet. We do recommend proper drainage slopes are in place before
installation — something we'll assess during your free estimate.
Can it handle freeze-thaw cycles in winter?
Yes. Polyaspartic is rated to −40°F and is specifically engineered to flex
with temperature changes rather than cracking under thermal stress. Standard
epoxy can delaminate when concrete expands and contracts in cold weather —
polyaspartic does not.
How long does outdoor patio coating last?Popular
With proper installation on well-prepared concrete, our polyaspartic system

than indoor floors, which is exactly why we use a UV-stable polyaspartic

How do I maintain a coated patio or pool deck?
Rinse with a garden hose or power wash as needed. The non-porous surface
doesn't hold dirt, algae, or stains the way bare concrete does. For general
cleaning, a mild soap and water solution works fine. No annual sealing, no
waxing, no special treatments required.
Can you coat cracked or damaged patio concrete?
In most cases, yes. We fill hairline cracks and surface damage during the
prep phase. Larger structural cracks or heaved sections may need additional
repair work first, which we'll identify and quote transparently during your
free on-site estimate. We never start a coating over concrete that isn't
properly prepared.
